For over 20 years, I balanced life as a property investor with performing as the lead singer of my own multi award-winning Scottish wedding and corporate events business. Alongside this, I trained in interior design and loved styling my own rental properties, where the creative side of every project was the part I loved most.
A Different Stage
Then came 2020. The pandemic hit, the music stopped, and like so many performers, I found myself wondering what came next. Looking back, it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. It gave me the time and opportunity to turn a lifelong passion for interiors into the business I love today.
From Stage to Staging
Today, that same creative passion has found a new home.
As founder of Upstaged, I now help homeowners, developers and fellow investors present their properties at their very best. There’s nothing more rewarding for me than seeing a transformation complete, hearing how quickly the viewings started, the excitement of closing dates, and knowing that my team and I played a part in helping our clients achieve the best possible results.
My goal has always been simple: to create warm, elegant spaces that buyers instantly connect with. Because when people can picture themselves living in a home and enjoying the lifestyle it offers, they’re more likely to want to buy and pay more for it.
I’m incredibly grateful that I get to combine everything I’ve learned and loved throughout my career; creativity, presentation and helping people achieve the very best outcome.
