Why I Do What I Do
For over 20 years, alongside being a small-scale landlord, I had the absolute joy of performing as the lead singer in my own wedding and corporate events business. I loved bringing music to life at beautiful venues and stunning Scottish castles, helping create truly memorable moments. Connecting with people through performance became my passion, and the awards I received for Outstanding Customer Service and Best Live Evening Entertainment were a wonderful reflection of the happiness we shared together.

A New Beginning
Then came 2020. The pandemic hit, the music stopped, and everything paused. Like many performers, I found myself at a crossroads. Having studied interior design in my 30s and in styling my own rental properties, it was clear that staging was always the part I loved most. Transforming empty, unloved spaces into elegant, inviting homes gave me an equally exciting creative buzz.
I knew I could help others experience the magic of professional staging, sharing my secrets for success and the added value that comes from a polished show-home finish. Seeing the before-and-after photos and my clients’ reactions is incredibly rewarding.

From Stage to Staging
Today, that creative energy has a new home. As founder of Upstaged, I lead one of Scotland’s top property staging teams, helping investors, developers, estate agents, and homeowners across Scotland showcase their properties at their very best. I care about delivering results, hearing about the many viewings, multiple offers and closing dates.
My mission is simple: to elevate spaces with style, warmth, and purpose, turning empty rooms into market-ready homes that buyers fall in love with, while ensuring my clients achieve the maximum returns possible.
Still creative, same passion, just a new stage.
