Why I Do What I Do
I’ve always believed homes should make people feel something. As a small-scale landlord myself, I saw first-hand how beautifully presented properties attracted more interest, created emotional connection, and achieved stronger results.
I quickly realised the power of staging, because I could never understand why anyone would market an empty property without showing buyers what it could truly become, not to mention the additional return.

A New Beginning
Back in 2002, while raising my children, supporting my daughter, and balancing family life, I quietly studied Interior Design alongside styling my own rental properties.
At the same time, I spent over 20 years performing as the lead singer of my own multi award-winning Scottish wedding and events band, a career I loved, and one that allowed me to balance creativity with caring responsibilities.

From Stage to Staging
When the pandemic stopped the live music industry, life gave me the chance to finally pursue the business I’d always dreamed of building. What started with styling my own properties became Upstaged, transforming vacant rooms into beautifully styled homes that buyers instantly connect with emotionally.
Today, instead of performing on stage, I stage properties full-time, combining creativity, design, and property experience to help clients achieve exceptional results. And I absolutely love it.
Still creative, same passion, just a new stage.
