Why I Do What I Do
For over 20 years, I juggled being a small scale property investor with performing as the lead singer in my own multi award-winning Scottish wedding and corporate events business at weekends, something I absolutely loved. Alongside performing, I trained in interior design and staged properties part-time, styling my own rentals and helping friends transform their homes.
A New Beginning
Then came 2020. The pandemic hit, the music stopped, and everything paused. Like many performers, I was at a crossroads, and moving into property staging full-time felt like the obvious choice. Transforming empty, unloved spaces into elegant, inviting homes gives me the same creative buzz I felt on stage, while also helping my clients enjoy the magic of professional staging and the extra profit a polished show home finish brings. Seeing the before-and-after photos and my clients’ reactions is incredibly rewarding.
From Stage to Staging
Today, that creative energy has a new home. As founder of Upstaged, I lead one of Scotland’s top property staging teams, helping investors, developers, estate agents, and homeowners showcase their properties at their very best. I love seeing the results, multiple viewings, bidding wars, and high offers never fail to excite me.
My mission is simple: to transform empty rooms into stylish, welcoming, market-ready homes that buyers fall in love with, while helping my clients achieve the maximum returns possible. Every space we stage is designed with purpose, warmth, and impact, so it looks and feels irresistible, and sells.
